You can say I'm plain Jane...

...but it's not the same.

This, below, is my daily "I'm too lazy and tired to mess with make-up" look. This look is usually made for school (because frankly, I don't care about how I look when I'm at school) and also my post-gym shower look.

(I look different... haha maybe it's the lack of liner on the undereye? I also think my cheeks are getting chubs :P I blame Christmas)

Below are the products I used:

Brows: NYX FYEO in Smokey Eyes (Top 3rd colour from left)
Face: Clinique Almost Makeup in Medium and Sephora Bronzer in Bora Bora
Eyes: Loreal Voluminous and Loreal Lineur Intense

...and now that I have more time...

I'm back to blogging! I finished all my exams and you would not believe how happy I am to get them over with! Thank goodness I have a full month off school!

So, I've been waiting for my Coastal Scents package to come, but since mail is slow because of the Canada Post strike, I think it's going to take longer than usual :( I hate waiting. So, please stay tuned for my reviews on the 88 CS Shimmer Palette, as well as the 6 pc contour palette ! I also ordered dupes of the MAC 188 from Adorned with Grace Minerals (http://adornedwithgrace.ecrater.com/). As per Christiana Divine, they were having a Christmas sale, so I went and got a great deal! By great deal, I mean TWO mini skunk brushes for $9.99 USD (with today's exchange rate, $12.78 CDN). The cherry on top is the fact that shipping is free. ABSOLUTELY FREE (for US and Canada). I'm super excited to receive those and for sure you will all get a review ;)

Anyways, to kick off this awesome one month holiday I have, I decided to post my FAVES . These following makeup items are things I use on a daily basis. These are my HOLY GRAIL of HOLY GRAILS. What's best? While they seem like splurges, they have long lifetimes, so for the price as a whole, its cents a day !

Without further ado...

1. She-Laq by Benefit $32 CDN (available at Sephora)
As many of you may know, I am cursed with very faint eyebrows. Since I draw them on a daily basis, I need something to ensure that it wouldn't rub off or wash off weather permitting. It is definitely expensive, however, this is one of those products that have never failed on me, ever. Not only does it work on sealing my eyebrow colour, it also seals in eyeliner, lipstick and mascara! It's great for contact lens wearers who have watery eyes and even waterproof mascara smudges. I have finished my 3rd bottle of She-Laq! The package comes with 5 brushes for eyes, lips, eyebrows, eyelashes, etc. This bottle lasts a year when used on a daily basis. My rating? 5 out of 5!

2. Rimmel Wear 10 + Minerals nail polish in 363
Milk Chocolate - $2.99 CDN (Any drugstore that carries Rimmel)
This beautiful neutral shade matches with anything, and is wearable all year round! If worn with a base and top coat, it actually lasts the 10 days it promises :) I have yet to find a nail colour that is this good, at this price! My rating? 5 out of 5

3. Urban Decay Primer Potion - $18 CDN(Sephora)
This is by far (to me) one of the best eyeshadow primers I have ever owned. It makes anything non-pigmented into something at least promising. For someone who is a mineral eyeshadow user, the stickiness of UDPP helps avoid fall out. This is something I use every single day! My rating? 4.5 out of 5 (blendability is sometimes hard to do).

4. Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner in Black - $8 CDN (Any drugstore that carries Revlon)
I have been using this product since 2003, when I started putting on eyeliner. For all these years I have used it, it never gave me trouble. It definitely stays true to its word that it is a colorstay! 8 hours into the school day and my eyeliner is intact, not smudged, and is as pigmented as ever. It is soft and doesn't tug, and it is the best for waterlining (IMO). My rating? 5 out of 5.

5. L'oréal Lineur Intense Liquid Liner in Black - $10 CDN (Any drugstore that carries L'oréal)
I have also been using this product for a long time, around the time I started using the Revlon pencil. This eyeliner has a tricky brush for beginners, but since I got used to it, its way easier for me to apply. The formula is smooth and creamy and not drippy. It stays on for a long time, is waterproof and smudgeproof. My rating? 4.5 out of 5 (because of brush)

6. MAC Sculpt n Shape in LightSweep and Shadester (LE) -$ 25 USD (CCOs in the United States)
Since I still haven't received my Coastal Scents contour palette, MAC Sculpt and Shape will be the best contour colour on my skin tone. I highly praise contouring, and shadester's neutral brown tone eliminates ruddiness and creates a BELIEVABLE contour shade. Lightsweep is also a beautiful highlight colour, adding a great sheen and definition on my high cheekbones! My rating? 4.5 out of 5 (because its LE, and I can't find it anywhere!)

wow, that was long!
i'll see you guys later on !

xoxo
